Returns and Warranties
Please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or by completing the Contact Us page should you wish to return any items. Items returned without prior authorisation are liable for a restocking fee and the shipping charges. When items are authorised for return please package it securely so that it does not suffer any damage during transit.
We believe shopping online should be a worry free experience, so that is why we offer a 7 days money back guarantee for any quality issues or if you have changed your mind. Items are deemed to be delivered in good order and condition on delivery unless otherwise endorsed on delivery note/waybill. If the return is a fault of ours i.e. the wrong product was delivered or the product arrived damaged we will issue a full refund including return shipping charges. If the return is due to a change of mind or incorrectly ordered product the return shipping charge will have to be paid by the buyer.
The Client Concierge team will use their discretion to evaluate whether a refund for shipping and handling may be waivered.
Please inspect the product on delivery and contact us immediately, should it be a wrong product or if it arrived damaged.
We will not credit, refund or replace Goods where, in our reasonable opinion, the Goods in question have been returned to us in an unacceptable state (due to fair wear and tear, misuse, failure to use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, using it in an abnormal way or failure to take reasonable care). Where we refuse to credit the order, refund you or replace the Goods, we will notify you by email and you will be liable to cover the costs of the Goods being returned to you.
Once we have inspected your Goods and determined that you are entitled to a credit, refund or replacement, we will notify you of this outcome by email, and we will reimburse you the costs of returning the Goods to us.
We do not accept returns on jewellery products that are for piercings.
Defective products can be returned up to 6 months of delivery date by contacting us on email@example.com or by completing the Contact Us page.
A "Defective Product" is an imperfection in a product that has a manufacturing or design defect, or is faulty because of inadequate instructions or warnings. A product is in a defective condition if it is unreasonably dangerous to the user or to consumer who purchases the product and causes physical harm.
The product must be defective in itself (due to manufacture or design fault) and not damaged due to inappropriate use.
When returning a product after the 7 day standard returns period, a customer must provide full reasons for alleging that the product is defective, including stating how the product was utilised during the period that it was in the customer’s possession.
The warranty is void if the item has been damaged by accident, negligence by persons other than authorised Bayofafrica sales or service agents, unauthorized service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents , normal wear and tear or damages resulting from electrical surges or corrosion.
Watch Warranty : The warranty only covers the watch movement , hands and dial during the warranty period. The warranty does not cover any defects in material or workmanship of battery, case, crystal, strap or bracelet.
